Wouldn't it be refreshing...to find someone who not only knows how to design a web site, but is capable of understanding your viewer from your point of view? That's me. Website design is something I've learned over the past ten years, but understanding sales and marketing comes from a lifetime of experience.

Welcome to Web Pages Houston. I'm really glad you're here, and I hope you find something useful!

Let me start by saying there is no magic to this...website design, that is. Website design is merely a collection of skills that one can learn and develop over time. Some website designers are highly skilled in graphic design, some are skilled in the written word, some are very experienced in dealing with security issues, or data bases, or e-commerce solutions.

Some website design firms include dozens, or perhaps even hundreds of website designers who specialize in one area or another. Many of these firms claim to be able to do it all, and with all the right resources, they can (of course, there's the overhead issue!).

Then, of course, there are false claims as well. There are those who will present you with a flashy facade, only to offer you little or nothing in the end. They'll take your money, but what are you left with?

There are plenty of website designers in the world who have an extensive knowledge of the use of HTML, JAVA, CSS, and all the other tools that go along with website design. And they've worked hard to learn those skills. But what can they do for you when it comes to helping you to market your company, your services, or your products?

These very basic principles exist in all walks of life - professional, personal, and otherwise, and I know to you this is really nothing new. I just want you to know that I will not mislead you in any way. There are things I can do, and things I cannot do.

However, with a 24-year background in sales, purchasing, and marketing, one thing I can do is help you understand your customer. And, there's more to that than meets the eye! Understanding your customer is paramount to the success of your business.

So, with that word, "Understanding", let me go to work for you. I'll design a web site for you, with which you can present your business to the internet commuity. I won't make any "pie in the sky" claims. Just a straightforward, honest approach. You and I will work together to make your web site not only functional and informative, but affordable as well, and one you can be pleased with. If there is something I just can't do for you, I'll let you know...but, together, we'll find a solution.
